Update and Videos

The database has been updated with the ability to have videos located within it.  Check out Cumberland Falls or Evan Mills Falls for a preview of what is to come with videos.  Also to note, both of those videos are 360° views of the waterfalls!  This should give you a great idea of what to expect at some of the waterfalls located within the database.

Also, the database is now up to 628 waterfalls, with 616 waterfalls on the map.  Thanks to some new submitters for adding to this project and database!  They added some really special and beautiful waterfalls the database.

If you are into traveling to other states, I now also have an Ohio Waterfall Database with 91 of Ohio's waterfalls included.  So go check it out if you want to get your fix in the Buckeye State!

Which County Hits 100 First?

The submissions just keep coming in.  Thanks to you all!  With all the wonderful people submitting waterfalls, Laurel County has now rocketed back ahead of McCreary County for the most confirmed waterfalls in the state!  The database is now up to 602 waterfalls, with 590 waterfalls on the map.  The coolest part of the recent submissions to me has been all the people checking out possible waterfalls and changing them to confirmed!

Now the question is will Laurel or McCreary hit 100 confirmed waterfalls first?

McCreary County on the Top

Thanks to a massive amount of submissions from Mike Hoffman, McCreary County now has the most confirmed waterfalls, beating out Laurel County by a handful.

The database is now just a few shy of 600 waterfalls.  The map has not been updated yet to reflect all the recently submitted waterfalls, but they are in the database (use the search feature).  I'll get the map updated on the next update, once over 600 waterfalls.

Thanks to Mike as well as Stephanie & Tim Stoops for the large amount of submittals.  Also thanks to all the others that have submitted waterfalls in the last few weeks.  45 waterfalls were submitted in just the last 2 weeks by 9 different people!!!  That is crazy and awesome.
