Moser Branch Double Falls
Moser Branch Double Falls is located in Kenton County in a city park that took a lot of work to build and upkeep. Then it seemed like it just quit. It’s weird. It’s like a time capsule where all the literature and signage talks about all these things that have been done and all the people involved, but it’s obviously information from quite a while ago.
I used to live in Northern Kentucky in Kenton County, and because of that, I would get my waterfall fix after work by searching local streams. This was one of them. It’s a double falls, only five feet tall. It’s small. But as you can see in the picture, the yellow trees in the autumn magically cover up the stream and create a framing for your photograph that makes it seem like it’s somewhere much different than hidden away along a major road in Northern Kentucky.
This waterfall is usually pretty dry or just a trickle. But if you can catch it right as the rain is ending, it is worth a visit if you live or happen to be in the area and want to get your waterfall fix. The park is also filled with white lilies in the spring along with many other native wildflowers, making the rainy spring season a great time to visit for both the falls and the blooms.
